Illustration idea for the main titled cover for the first story. I might have to tweak some things when I actually set up the graphic novel. Fatima’s hand and the lotus symbolize the gift of compassion/healing. Sahir’s downward hand (blood and wounds reflect his violent actions and hatred) is a gesture of taking refuge. Notice the lotus is not tainted .
